While many are talking about “Collective Impact,” the Violence Prevention Coalition continues to advocate for what we call “collaborative impact.” In other words, what happens when community organizations come together, to leverage resources to achieve common goals. As an organization that specializes in connecting members and facilitating collaboration, the Violence Prevention Coalition has increasingly become an essential resource for organizations seeking to work together, increase their own knowledge and skill set, increase their connection to others engaged in the work, and create a voice louder and more powerful than any single organization can accomplish alone.
All of this is done with you, our membership. We are proud to share and support your tremendous work, and to know that together, we are creating a safe, healthy Los Angeles.
